A volume of insurance premiums collected for the first six months of the year of property insurance increased by 80%
Total volume of insurance premiums collected by A-Qroup for the first six months of the year 2010 was 5 024 059 AZN, this number exceeds the results of the year of 2009 by 6%.
Primary part of total income is traditionally composed by voluntary medical insurance. Market analysis confirms A-Qroup’s indisputable leadership in this segment of insurance market.
Intensive increase is monitored in the fields of property insurance. Premiums for property insurance for the first six months increased by 80%
Amount paid by A-Qroup for the first six months of the year 2010 equals 2 854 399 AZN. Note, that based on the results obtained by July 1, 2010 statutory capital of the company is 2,65 mln AZN.

A-Qroup Insurance Company elevates its authorized capital stock up to 71%
In the frame of its long term development program, A-Qroup Insurance Company processed next elevation of authorized capital stock. As a result, this number changed from 1,55 mln AZN to 2,65 mln AZN. A-Qroup development program implies further accretion of this activity. Next expansion of capital will be processed by means of income of 2010.
Also, process of audit carried out by independent audit firm Baker Tilly Azerbaijan is successfully completed. We would like to remind, that this year A-Qroup also once more confirmed compliance with ISO 9001 international quality standards.
It is worth noting, that total insurance premiums collected by A-Qroup for 4 months amounts 4 216 620 AZN which exceeds results of 2009 for 10,5%. Traditionally, main part of total premiums collected is related to voluntary medical insurance.

A-Qroup Insurance Company resumed results of the year 2009
Total volume of insurance premiums collected for the year 2009 is 7 410 826 AZN. Noteworthy, that despite the implications of economic crisis, in comparison to the last year A-Qroup managed to maintain almost the same volume of insurance premiums.
Main part of total income of A-Qroup is related to voluntary medical insurance. Analysis of insurance market confirms indisputable leadership of a company in this segment of market.
Its worth noting, that 2009 became for A-Qroup a year of restructuring: change of judicial status of a company into a open joint stock; year of signing a contract with International Financial Corporation with the goal of enhancement of corporate governance of a company and provision a correspondence of it to best standards of international practice
(A-Qroup is an only insurance company selected by IFC in the frame of second phase of corporate governance program); a year of successful recertification by independent international audit Moody International for compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards; a year of developing new VIP medical insurance program “Ferqli”; year of victories in major tenders.

 A-Qroup Insurance Company is announced as a winner of a tender for medical insurance of US Embassy employees
Certification experts carried out a complex audit of company departments. Certificate states that A-Qroup Insurance Company introduced and maintains quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 international standards requirements. We would like to remind, that a company was certified for ISO 9001 international standard conformity in 2006. For the 3 years, A-Qroup Insurance Company had been successfully passing audits for ISO. In 2009 A-Qroup Insurance Company has successfully completed ISO 9001: 2008 recertification.
ISO 9001-2008 is the last standard developed by International Standardization Organization. It includes principles of process and system approaches of quality management.

American Embassy highly appreciates quality of customer service and care, the system of medical service rendered under A-Qroup Insurance’s medical program. Prolongation of medical insurance contract for 5 years is an indisputable proof of this fact. We would like to remind, that this is a second time A-Qroup wins US Embassy tender. A-Qroup is an only insurance company chosen by International Finance Corporation (IFC) within the bounds of second phase of corporate governance pilot program
 International Finance Corporation (IFC) and A-Qroup Insurance Company will cooperate within the bounds of pilot program of corporate governing.
Within the bounds of pilot project IFC will estimate present experience of corporate governance of a company, will provide consultations on future improvement and implementation of corporate governance standards in accordance with leading international experience in this field. A-Qroup is a third company in IFC’s second pilot project.
“We are proud with the fact that A-Qroup is a first insurance company chosen by IFC. We are sure that this is a right choice and will contribute to improvement of corporate governance principles which in term will become grounds to rapid development of company” –said Chairman of Board of Insurance Company Anar Bayramov.
IFC will consult directors and managers of company. Besides, it will help to improve internal control, internal audit and financial reporting.

A-Qroup became an authorized member of Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund
 Since October 2009 A-Qroup has become an authorized member of Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund of Central Bank. Thus, A-Qroup received a right to insure within the bounds of governmental mortgage crediting according to standards of fund.
We would like to remind that for nowadays A-Qroup provides services of 3 types of compulsory and 14 types of voluntary insurance.
One more of advantages of a program is a provision of individual electronic health card (cares information about health condition).
Total volume of insurance premiums collected by A-Qroup for 3rd quarter of the year 2009 is 5 679 398 AZN.
